This proposed class action is on behalf of all persons who entered into a distance contract relating to a resale ticket for an event held in British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Quebec or Ontario, with StubHub, Inc., StubHub Canada Ltd., Viagogo Entertainment Inc., Viagogo GmbH, or StubHub Holdings, Inc., whose ticket was not produced by any of the defendants or who were provided with a different ticket than the one purchased since March 31, 2025. It is alleged that the defendants implemented a scheme involving the sale of event tickets that they knew, or ought to have known, did not exist when advertised or were procured in breach of applicable laws, and that they advertised tickets acquired through software designed to circumvent equitable ticket buying processes.
